► (n. 1924) Actriz de cine estadounidense. Su verdadero nombre es Betty Joan Perske. Estudió periodismo y teatro en Nueva York. Junto a su marido, el también actor Humprey Bogart, interpretó títulos como Tener y no tener (1945), El sueño eterno (1946) y Cayo largo (1948). También destaca su trabajo en Asesinato en el Orient Express (1974) o El amor tiene dos caras (1996).

Actriz estadounidense. Trabajó como modelo y en forma paralela interpretaba pequeños roles en Broadway; su fotografía en la portada de una revista le permitió acceder al casting de la película Tener o no tener (1944) junto a Humphrey Bogart, con quien se casó al poco tiempo. El filme tuvo un éxito inmediato, lo que le permitió hacer otras tres películas más con Bogart: El sueño eterno (1946), La senda tenebrosa (1947) y Cayo Largo (1948). También actuó en largometrajes memorables como Cómo casarse con un millonario (1953) y Asesinato en el Expreso de Oriente (1974). En Broadway obtuvo premios Tony por su desempeño en Aplauso (1970) y Woman of the Year (1981).
